About AuRTistic Expressions

Art, access, and authenticity—for all of us.

Why We Exist

AuRTistic Expressions is more than just a creative brand—it’s a movement. Founded by Gal, a late-diagnosed autistic woman and art therapy practitioner, this space was born out of burnout, frustration, and a fierce refusal to keep shrinking to fit into systems never designed for us.

Here, art isn’t about perfection. It’s about process. It’s about healing, connection, and the kind of expression that doesn’t ask for permission. We center disabled and neurodivergent voices because we know what it feels like to be left out of the conversation—and we’re done waiting for a seat at the table. We’re building our table. And you’re invited.

Howdy! I’m Gal

I’m Gal—artist, advocate, certified art therapy practitioner, and all-around creative weirdo.

I hit burnout at 50, freshly diagnosed and wildly unsure of what came next. Rather than keep trying to squeeze into boxes labeled “normal,” I chose to build something that felt like home. AuRTistic Expressions is that home—for me, and for anyone else who’s been told they’re too much, too sensitive, too different, or not enough.

I’ve always had two constants: a love for art and a heart for helping others. I’m quirky, sarcastic, occasionally sweary, and fully committed to showing up as my whole self—and making room for you to do the same.

What We Do

Hands covered in colorful paint above a blurred background with splotches of red, yellow, and blue.

Through creative offerings and community-centered work, AuRTistic Expressions is here to make art and self-expression more accessible to disabled and neurodivergent folks.

We do that by:

  • Offering custom coaching for creatives and neurodivergent individuals

  • Hosting collaborative projects with organizations, artists, and advocates

  • Selling products and art that support inclusive representation

  • Building community through memberships, workshops, and real talk

  • Providing resources, storytelling, and space for people to feel seen

This isn’t a business built for the mainstream. This is a space for the beautifully offbeat, the too-loud, too-tender, too-different folks who are just right.

OuR Mission

Our mission is to empower, heal, and connect neurodivergent and disabled communities through the transformative power of art. We believe that creativity is a universal language—one that transcends barriers, fosters self-expression, and nurtures emotional well-being. Through inclusive artistic spaces, we strive to amplify diverse voices, cultivate understanding, and create opportunities for individuals to share their unique perspectives. By celebrating the limitless potential of art, we are committed to building a more inclusive, supportive, and connected world.

OuR Vision

We envision a world where art is recognized as a vital force for empowerment, healing, and connection within neurodivergent and disabled communities. A world where creativity knows no barriers, self-expression is celebrated, and every individual has access to inclusive artistic spaces that foster belonging and understanding. Through the power of art, we strive to cultivate a more compassionate, inclusive, and inspired society where all voices are heard, valued, and uplifted.
